KENBot around the clock
Stage 1 and most options run automatically – at three in the morning and on Sundays too. Manual work Monday to Friday 10 am–6 pm, Saturdays until 2 pm.
File service / Master–Slave / 24/7
You read out and flash. KENBot processes the file – automatically, at night and at weekends too. Whatever the automation cannot do, I do by hand.
Trade customers only: motor trade businesses, workshops, tuners, commercial vehicle preparers. When registering you confirm your status as a business under § 14 BGB and name a proof – VAT ID, trade registration or commercial register.
Why KENBES
No ticket, no queue, no opening hours. You upload the file and watch what happens.
Stage 1 and most options run automatically – at three in the morning and on Sundays too. Manual work Monday to Friday 10 am–6 pm, Saturdays until 2 pm.
If the file does not fit, it is reworked – with no second charge. Questions go straight on the order, not across three channels.
What cannot be done costs nothing. The token goes straight back to your balance, visible in the history.
Autotuner, Flex and Dimsport slave files are decrypted and re-encrypted via the master panel. You get the file back in your tool’s format – ready to write.
SHA-256 on every file, a log per order, a receipt per top-up. You always know what happened to your file and when.
New workshops start with 1 token – the first Stage 1 is on us. No subscription, no basic fee.
Quality from KENBES. Every file comes from KENBES' own development. They stand for years of experience, careful tuning and quality. Our standard: high-grade software and personal support at a fair price.
How it works
Two minutes: company, address, proof of trade status. You send the proof by e-mail afterwards.
I check the registration, usually the same working day. The starting credit is on your account right after.
Vehicle, ECU, read method, the services you want. Autotuner slaves fill in the form by themselves. The cost is shown live next to it.
Automated orders are done in minutes. If the file needs manual work, you see it on the order and get a message as soon as it is ready.
The file comes back in your tool’s format. Checksum included, the original stays backed up.
Prices
No subscription, no basic fee, no minimum turnover. You top up credit in tokens – by card, PayPal or Revolut – and every order is charged from it. All prices net.

Purpose-bound means: only with a declaration of purpose on file – motorsport, export, vehicles outside public roads. The portal asks for it on every order and logs it.
Credit never expires. Same price for every ECU. Not feasible: token back, no paperwork.
Prices net plus 19 % German VAT. EU businesses with a VAT ID pay net (reverse charge), non-EU businesses without German VAT. Every top-up comes with a receipt.
New here? After approval, 1 token of starting credit is on your account.
Tools
All common reading tools, OBD, bench and boot. Slave files from the highlighted tools are processed directly – no decrypting on your side.
Highlighted in gold: slave format accepted and returned directly. Formats: .bin, .ori, .mod, .slave, .slv, .mmf, .mmf2, .dmd, .frf, .sgo, .hex, .dat, .zip and more.
Every common tool, every read method: OBD, bench, boot. Slave files from Autotuner, Flex and Dimsport go straight through the master panel; all other tools deliver open files.
Autotuner slave files are accepted directly and returned in Autotuner format. On upload the portal reads ECU and vehicle from the file and fills in the form by itself. OBD, bench and boot.
Flex slave files run through the master panel: decrypted, processed, re-encrypted, returned in Flex format. Flex master reads as open .bin as usual.
New Genius and Trasdata as slave via the master panel, master files open. Boot and bench reads via Trasdata too.
KESS3 master reads as open files via OBD, bench or boot. KESS3 slave files I check by hand – if it cannot be done, the token goes back.
Bench and boot reads as open files. The file comes back the way K-TAG can write it, checksum corrected in the file.
OBD and boot reads from CMD as open files, returned in the same format.
OBD and bench reads from bFlash, open .bin, returned in the same format.
MagicMotorSport tools besides Flex: open master files directly, slave files via the panel.
OBD and bench reads as open files.
KESS V2, older K-TAG, PCMflash, MPPS, FGTech, Galletto, PowerGate and others too: whatever delivers a complete read can be processed. When in doubt, upload – the portal tells you what works.
Every workshop has a referral link in its account. If another workshop registers through it and is approved, you are credited 1 token – and the new workshop starts with 1 token.
ECUs
The automation knows tens of thousands of software versions from thirteen years of archive. What it does not know, I do by hand on the actual version – never a database file that does not match the car.
EDC15, EDC16, EDC17 (C46, C64, C54, CP04, CP14, CP20, CP44), MED9, MED17, MEVD17, MG1, MD1
SID 2xx, SID 8xx, SIMOS 8 to 19, PCR 2.1, MSD80, MSD85, MSV90
DCM 3.x, DCM 6.x, DCM 7.1 – diesel in Ford, Renault, Kia, Hyundai, Mercedes
MJD 6, MJD 8, MJD 9, IAW 8GMF, 9GF, 10GF – Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia
Toyota, Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki
VW DSG DQ200, DQ250, DQ381, DQ500, DL382; ZF 8HP in BMW, Audi, Jaguar; Mercedes 7G and 9G; Ford PowerShift
ECU not listed? Upload it. The automation checks whether a matching version exists; otherwise manual work or the token goes back.
Glossary
So that workshop and file service mean the same thing when they say “Stage 1” or “slave”.
Vehicles
From the Golf 7 GTD via the Sprinter and the Ducato motorhome to Fendt and Yamaha: 138 makes, 9,896 engine variants in the vehicle database – diesel and petrol, turbo and naturally aspirated, older ranges too. Every make with stock figures and a realistic Stage 1 gain.
Who it is for
The file service is the back end for businesses that want to offer chiptuning without editing maps themselves: independent workshops, tuning shops, dealerships, vehicle preparers, mobile tuners with an Autotuner or KESS3 in the boot. Every business stays independent and is the contracting party to its own customers.
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland – EU businesses with a VAT ID pay net (reverse charge), non-EU businesses without German VAT. Portal, receipts and support in German, English and Bosnian.
FAQ
Trade customers only: motor trade businesses, workshops, tuners, commercial vehicle preparers. When registering you confirm your status as a business under § 14 BGB and name a proof – VAT ID, trade registration or commercial register.
The file service does not serve private customers. For them there is the regular enquiry on kenbes.de.
Automated orders – Stage 1 and most options – are done in minutes, around the clock. The counter at the top shows the current turnaround.
Files that need manual work I handle on weekdays between 10 am and 6 pm, on Saturdays between 10 am and 2 pm, usually the same day. You see the status on the order and get a message as soon as it is ready.
Then the token goes straight back to your balance. What cannot be done costs nothing – that is what the terms say and that is how it works.
Full reads as .bin or in your tool’s format. Slave files from Autotuner, Flex and Dimsport are accepted directly and returned in the same format. Other formats such as .ori, .mod, .frf, .sgo, .hex, .dat or .zip work as well.
With Autotuner slaves the portal reads ECU and vehicle from the file and fills in the form by itself.
The file comes back the way it belongs in the ECU. With slave tools the tool calculates the checksum when writing; with open files it is corrected in the file.
You top up credit in tokens: by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, by PayPal or Revolut. Every top-up has a reference number and a receipt. Orders are charged from the balance – there is no invoice per file and no payment at the moment of ordering.
EU businesses enter their VAT ID and pay net (reverse charge).
Yes, as you like per order. The cost is shown live next to the form while you choose, before you submit. Pop & Bang on top of a stage costs half a token, not a full one.
Through the packages: ten tokens cost 20 percent less than ten single ones. Plus the referral programme – one token for every workshop you refer that gets approved. And the first token is a gift for every new workshop.
A file service edits the software of the engine control unit without seeing the vehicle. The workshop reads the file with its tool, uploads it, gets the tuned file back and writes it to the ECU. The file service is the master; the workshop needs no map-editing software and no WinOLS.
One token, that is €100 net. Ten tokens in a package cost €800, so €80 per Stage 1. Options on top of a stage start at 0.25 tokens; gearbox tuning with a stage is 0.5 tokens. All prices are in the table above; there is no subscription and no basic fee.
Both work. With a master tool (KESS3 master, K-TAG, CMD, bFlash) you upload the open file. With a slave tool (Autotuner, Flex, Dimsport) you upload the encrypted slave file; the portal decrypts it via the master panel and returns it in the same format. Nothing to change on your side.
Typically 20 to 30 percent more power and torque on a turbo diesel, 15 to 25 percent on a turbo petrol. The vehicle database gives stock figure and realistic gain for every engine variant – deliberately at the lower end, so the workshop promises its customer nothing the file does not deliver.
Yes. Gearbox tuning for DSG (DQ200, DQ250, DQ381, DQ500), ZF 8HP, Mercedes 7G/9G and others: shift times, shift points, clutch pressure, torque limit. One token on its own, half a token together with a Stage 1.
Yes. Sprinter, Ducato, Transit, Crafter and motorhomes on these bases are everyday work in the file service, as are trucks from DAF, MAN, Scania, Volvo and tractors from Fendt, John Deere, Claas, Deutz-Fahr. On commercial vehicles often as an economy tune rather than power.
Yes. KENBot processes automated orders around the clock, at three in the morning and on Sundays too. Only manual work is on weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm CET.
No. You read out and flash; the map work happens here. If you work with WinOLS yourself, you can of course still inspect the open file.
Every business works under its own name and invoices its own customers – that is the model. If you bring more workshops, use the referral link in your account and get one token for every workshop that is approved.
All whose ECUs can be read: VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Opel/Vauxhall, Renault, Peugeot, Citroën, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Volvo, Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, plus trucks, tractors, motorcycles and boats. The vehicle database lists 138 makes.
Register, get approved, use the starting credit. Takes two minutes and commits you to nothing.
